Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
This policy explains what Mow Chaos (the "game") collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. "We" and "us" means Kaguva, the developer of the game. It covers the phone versions (Google Play and the App Store) and the web versions played on game portals.
- No accounts. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, photos, contacts or location.
- No chat and no sharing with other players. No in-app purchases. The weekly leaderboard shows only a made-up name, never yours.
- Your progress stays on your device.
- Children: players under 13 only get child-safe ads that are never personalised, no tracking prompt and no analytics.

1. What stays on your device
The game saves your progress and settings in a file on your phone or in your browser's storage: levels and stars, scores and best times, experience points, unlocked mowers and caps, daily and weekly challenges, statistics, your settings (sound, controls, graphics, language) and your answer to the age question. It is never uploaded to us. Uninstalling the game, or clearing the browser's site data, deletes it.
Reminders ("come back and mow") are scheduled on your phone by the phone itself. No server is involved, and you can turn them off in the phone's settings.
2. The age question
On phones, the first time you start the game it asks the year you were born, before any ad or analytics service starts. The year stays on your device. The game only uses it to choose how ads and analytics work for you (sections 3 and 4): under 13, 13 to 15, or 16 and older. When in doubt it assumes the younger age. You can answer again at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ask my age and ad choices again.
3. What is sent and why (phone versions)
| Service | Who | What | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ads (Google AdMob) | Everyone | Ad requests with device and app information (device model, operating system, app version, approximate location from the IP address). The advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS) only when allowed: never for players under 13 (see section 4) | To show ads, which keep the game free |
| Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) | Everyone | When the game crashes or hits an error: what went wrong in the code, device model, operating system, app version, free memory, and a random installation ID that is not linked to you | To find and fix crashes |
| Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) | Only players 16 and older | How the game is played (levels started and finished, results, settings changed, screens opened), device model, operating system, language, approximate country, and a random app-instance ID | To see which levels are too hard or too easy and improve the game |
| Game settings (Firebase Remote Config) | Everyone | A random installation ID, app version and device language when the game fetches its settings (at most once an hour) | To adjust things like ad frequency without an update |
| Weekly leaderboard (our own game server, game.kaguva.com) | Only players 13 and older, on phones | A random ID made by the game, a made-up name the game picks (like "Speedy Gnome 42"; you can't type one), your best Weekly Yard time, and the week | To show this week's best times. Nothing else is stored; the board is deleted about 9 days after its week ends |
We do not sell personal data. We do not use any of this to identify you. These services are run by Google; see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Data may be processed on Google's servers outside your country.
4. Ads and your choices
- Under 13: ad requests are marked as directed to children (COPPA), ads are limited to content suitable for all ages, nothing is personalised, the advertising ID is not used for ads, and the iPhone tracking prompt is never shown.
- 13 to 15: ad requests are marked as under the age of consent: ads are never personalised and the tracking prompt is never shown. Ad content is limited to family-friendly categories.
- 16 and older: in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks whether ads may be personalised. On iPhone, Apple's "Allow tracking" prompt appears after that form, unless you already chose non-personalised ads. If you say no, ads are still shown, just not personalised.
Ads are optional where they give a reward (for example, continuing a lost level). Ads never appear when the game starts. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
5. Children
Mow Chaos is made for everyone, children included. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. For them, the game sends only what is needed to show child-safe, non-personalised ads and to report crashes (section 3), with no analytics and no advertising ID. Parents can contact us (section 10) with any question or request about their child's data.
6. Web versions (game portals)
On web portals such as Poki, CrazyGames and Opera GX Games, the game itself sends nothing to us: progress is kept in your browser's storage. The portal shows the ads and may collect data under its own privacy policy: Poki, CrazyGames, Opera. The web versions never open links to other websites.
7. Your choices and rights
- Answer the age question again, and reopen the ad consent form: Settings → Privacy. This also deletes the leaderboard ID on your device (your time leaves the board when that week's board expires, or sooner if you ask us).
- Delete everything on your device: uninstall the game (or clear the site's data in your browser).
- Depending on where you live (for example the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data. Because we have no accounts, the data described in section 3 is not linked to your name; contact us and we will help with any request.
Where the GDPR applies, personalised ads are based on your consent; crash reports and analytics for players 16 and older are based on our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and improving it, and you can object to them by contacting us.
8. How long data is kept
Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted. A weekly leaderboard is deleted about 9 days after its week ends. Data on your device stays until you delete the game or its data.
9. Changes
If the game starts collecting something new, we will update this page and its date before that version is released.
